It's Been a Thrilling Week!

On a personal note, I am beaming with pride!  My youngest and only daughter, Ellen, received a large academic scholarship from Rush Medical University.  To top of the thrilling news the next day our middle son, Jay, got the news that he is being sworn in as a Paramedic/Firefighter for one of the western suburbs municipalities.  He has come close so many times; finally he is fulfilling his dream. 

Today is my birthday!  Happy Birthday to me!

The studio is really coming together.  All that has to be done is hanging my prints.  I even starting setting up my Limited Edition Holiday scene.  I will be offering Holiday Mini Sessions with packages coming up.

I had two fun senior sessions that I can't wait to share.  Both are big into music.  Soon I promise they will be posted.

Families -- I love photographing them!  I will be sharing more of some of my recent family sessions.  This was my very first session taken in the new studio.  We did go out for some family portraits at the end, however not for long -- it was hot and very humid.  Dawn -- your kids are terrific! And Jake is a sweet and mellow dog.  I really enjoyed this session.

 

It's Official -- My Studio Doors are OPEN!

Today I got the great news from the Village of Arlington Hts that I passed all inspections and I can open my studio doors.  I am going out and CELEBRATING tonight!

My studio will be open by appointment only, Tuesday - Saturday.

Photography session appointments can be booked on:

Tuesday  9-5

Wednesday  11-8

Thursday  11-8

Friday  9-3

Saturday  9-6

Viewing/Ordering Sessions appointments are available on weekday business hours only.  Saturdays are reserved for photography sessions.

I have picked up another day by adding Tuesdays to the work week to better serve my clients busy schedules. 

SHOUT OUT! -- for my dear, dear husband & family

I am so very blessed!  My studio is nearly completed because of the diligent efforts of my husband John, my adult kids, Ellen & Jay and Ellen's boyfriend, Chris.  I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all that you have done.

I have been MIA -- missing in action.  Getting a new studio build out completed and up and running has made for a grueling past 3 weeks.  I am so happy to see the light at the end of the tunnel......as I breath a *sigh* of relief.

The new studio will have a living room with projection viewing for your proof slideshow.  Also the advantage of projection viewing, I will be able to show you what your prints look like at different sizes on the wall.  Another big PLUS, you can send me images of rooms in your own home and I will be able to show you how your prints will look like in your home on your walls.  During the viewing session we will have a personal consultation to help guide you on your portrait selections.

The camera room (where I photograph) is large and spacious.  There will be a variety of beautiful canvas backdrops, paper backdrops & other textured walls.  I am hoping to have 4 set stations set up.

Baseboards, crown molding, display prints and shelves still need to be finished. 

Framing services are now available.  There will be a large selection of beautiful custom frames and matts to choose from all on display.  All of my display prints will be with the new custom framing products.

We will be having an open house sometime this Fall -- TBA.
