Funky Sofa = Great Studio Prop

Vintage, unique chairs and sofa are some of my favorite things to use for portraits.  This sofa has become a real favorite of mine.  I try not to do the typical, traditional poses as you see on my blog and website.

Autumn Blaze

The autumn colors hit their peak this week, just in time to photograph this brother, sister and sweet Casey.

I have been under the weather this week with a terrible cold.  Finally today is my first day that I am feeling a little better and back to work.  Sorry I had to reschedule a few sessions.

Sweet Dreams

Today I got to photograph 2 newborn girls.  So very, very precious!  Look at that head of hair on the one little peanut. 

This pose is not always an easy one to achieve.  My photographer friend, Sarah Ulrich, was kind enough to share with us how she works with newborns and how to get this pose.  She is a master working with newborns.  Thanks Sarah!

Photographer friend Tim Babin is a man who is strong in his beliefs and convictions.  Even though I don't always agree with his opinions, he brought to our attention about an inspirational, moving video presented by the Catholic Church.  It is a worthwhile 3 minutes of your time to watch.
